“ The legendary Go choice restaurant has been known for the place where Trang people chose for welcome the guests. There has been known for their delicious and the rich flavor of the foods. The stewed pork knuckle is their most famous dish. We also recommend trying orange curry added with snapper and deep-fried shrimp cake. The price is very reasonable. They also have the local stir-fried stink bean with prawn. Highly recommend this place for a family meal. ”
“ Ko Choi Restaurant is a well-known and long-established local restaurant in Trang. Their signature dish is Cold-Pork-Leg, served as an appetizer. It used to be the only place in town offering this dish, and even though some others might serve it now, Ko Choi is still considered the original. Besides the Cold-Pork-Leg, every dish we ordered was delicious. The Thai-Southern-style sour curry with mixed vegetables (with either sea bass or shrimp) was flavorful and nicely balanced — spicy, but not too strong. Another standout was the stir-fried stink beans with shrimp in shrimp paste — I loved it! You really have to try it yourself. We also had the shrimp cakes, which were crispy outside, soft inside, and very tasty. The last dish was Pad Poy Sian, a mild Chinese-style stir-fry. It was good, but not my favorite. The restaurant itself is open-air and has a typical local Chinese-style setup. It might not be the most comfortable place, but the food more than makes up for it. If you’re in Trang, it’s definitely worth a visit ”
